Just audio, no visuals; done absolutely on purpose.
I confess that, even though I'm not a great reader, I tried an audiobook while working and in three days I finished a book that otherwise would have taken me months to read (because I don't read them every day). It caught my attention immediately when listening to the emotions of the narrator. I'm looking forward to doing it again.
Just last week I was telling a co-worker that I didn't see the fun of the audiobooks. I love to read too and I really enjoy the particular smell of the books and the sensation of having them on my hands and going from one page to another. For me that's the way I relax after a day at work and is the reason I don't get audiobooks. After read/hearing about your experience I'm willing to give it a try :)
